INSPIRACIÓN "MAD MEN" IN MADRID

Gracias "Mad Men".
I want to show you the pictures I took in Madrid, my hometown, wearing a tailored suit
50´s inspiration. I bought it some years ago in Manchester and although I always liked that style I had never dared to buy one. The funny thing is that soon after I bought it the series "Mad Men" came out in Spain and got back into fashion. Thanks Mad Men.The set of pencil skirt and short jacket is green ( the day was grey) and I combined it with laces "male style" shoes that I love. Although I am from Madrid when I go over there I enjoy the city as a tourist. I love the old Madrid.

Traje: Matalan.

Chulapos de Madrid /  "Chulapos" wearing the tradicional costumes of Madrid.

An entire tourist. Photo in front of "la puerta del sol" (the literal translation of the name would be Sun´s Door but  we never translated itwhere they play in New year´s eve the 12 bells at 12 at night to celebrate the new year and under its famous clock  there is the  board "km cero"(the board Kilometer Zero ) of   Spain. Photo under the statue symbol of Madrid "the bear and the strawberry tree," picture around the streets of  "la Plaza mayor" (the great square) or  in the street Libreros (booksellers) from my lovely university years or photo having Churros (typical pastry ) with a  hot chocolate. I love Madrid. As the saying goes "From Madrid to heaven...... and from heaven a  little hole to see Madrid."
Do you like this retro type of suit? What is clear to me it is that are femenine and elegant and make you feel more womanly. It´s funny to see how your apperance changes with clothes.
Do you like to play with differents styles?
Enjoy the day.
