Rayas marineras, leopardo y rojo. Una mezcla que no sé realmente por qué pero me encanta. ¡ Y qué mejor escenario para este blazer marinero que el punto donde se unen el mar Mediterráneo y el océano Atlántico,Tarifa. Este es un sitio mágico además de ser el punto más sur de Europa, estás a sólo 35 minutos de Tánger, a 16 km de África y estás en la maravillosa provincia de Cádiz. Para los que no sois de aquí o no vivís aquí, quizá no lo sepáis pero hoy 28 de febrero es el día de Andalucía así que desde aquí FELIZ DÍA DE ANDALUCÍA a todos.

Sailor stripes, leopard and red. A mixture I do not know really why but I love it. And what better setting for this sailor blazer that the point where the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, Tarifa. This is a magical place is the most southern point of Europe, you are just 35 minutes from Tangier, Africa and you're in the beautiful province of Cádiz. For those who are not from here or do not live in Andalusía maybe do not know but today February 28th is the day of Andalusia so from here HAPPY DAY OF ANDALUSIA to all.

LADY WARHOL

 

Estuve en Málaga en un cumpleaños y aproveché para visitar la primera exposición de la Térmica, el nuevo centro cultural de Málaga. Una serie de retratos que Makos  hizo a su amigo Warhol en los años 80 donde tomó como inspiración la fotografía que Man Ray hizo a Duchamp vestido con sombrero y  abrigo de mujer. En esta exposición, por un lado, Warhol  posa con la mirada perdida intentando simular a esas mujeres ricas que él mismo retrataba en Nueva York, y por otro lado, posa con su ropa habitual (vaqueros, camisa y corbata) pero con distintas pelucas y maquillaje y así, en palabras del mismo fotógrafo, poder transmitir la ambigüedad sexual que empezaba a emerger en Nueva York a finales de los 70. Espero que tenga mucho éxito este centro cultural de Málaga, el edificio ya de por sí merece la pena con sus patios andaluces.

 Lo bueno también fue que en la sala ví a la cantante Cristina Rosenvinge que había estado justamente actuando el día anterior en este mismo centro cultural. Me encantó verla, así que dejo esta canción  de ella que me encantaba en los 90´.

The first exhibition of la Térmica, the new cultural center of Malaga, was a photo exhibition dedicated to Warhol where Makos photographer portrayed his friend in the 80's inspired by the famous Man Ray photograph of Duchamp where he was wearing a hat and a woman's coat. Here, on the one hand, Warhol poses with a lost look trying to simulate those rich women that he used to portrayed all the time, and on the other hand,  he appears with the same clothes in all pictures, jeans, shirt and tie but with different wigs and makeup with the intention, in words of the photographer, to transmit the sexual ambiguity that was starting to emerge in New York in the late 70s.
